Instructions for LMB Products:

So Natural Products, Most Delicate Products and Beauty & Shine Products:

Note: Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area beforehand and use only if you are satisfied with the test area. All leathers vary and react differently.

​

STEP 1: Cleanse

​

Shake the container well before use. Place a dab of product on a microfiber cloth (about 1.5cm diameter) and apply to the leather in a circular motion. Work the cleanser gently into the leather (DO NOT SCRUB). Wipe with the microfiber to lift the dirt from the leather. It is not unusual to see darkening of the leather, it will lighten again as it dries. To speed drying time use a hairdryer on medium setting. Repeat the process for stubborn soiling. Rinse the cloths immediately after use with warm water and make sure the cloth is completely dry before using it again.

STEP 2: Protect

​

This product is meant to protect leather from water and oil.

Shake the container well before use. Place a dab of product on a microfiber cloth (about 1.5cm diameter) and apply to leather. Do not worry if you see darkening of the leather, it will lighten again as it dries. If this does not happen then stop using the product. To speed drying time use a hairdryer on medium setting. To keep your handbag protected, reapply every 1-2 months. Use in conjunction with Lovin’ My Bags cleansers.

STEP 3: Moisturize

​

Use this product 24 hours after Step 2. Apply liberally onto leather with a soft white cloth or paper towel (makeup sponge applicators are fine to use as well). Air dry or use a hairdryer on low setting. This can be massaged into the leather by hand. If you are sensitive to scented products then use gloves.

*For Handles Only

​

Protects handles from darkening. This product is meant to add a blocker to the leather in order to inhibit the absorption of oil. It can remove some dirt but was formulated to be a preventative solution. Apply a small amount with a paper towel to handles. Apply lightly and dry with a hairdryer on medium setting. Once the first application is dry, apply a second coat. Buff with cloth. Repeat process and end with a buffing.

ODOR OUT BAG CANDIES

​

Remove bag candies from wrapper - keep inside the baggie and place baggie inside the heart cello bag for added protection from oil transfer - put bag candies inside your handbag and place handbag a box or container making sure there is room for air circulation. Leave for 3-4 days - the smoke odor gets absorbed by the bag candies.  If odors is not entirely eliminated - Lovin My Bags has an ozone option that could take care of more stubborn odors.

Vachetta Products

 

FOR NEW BAGS: Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first.

STEP 1 for  NEW BAGS & Gently  used   ** Pre-Treatment**

​

If your bag is NEW or lightly used , use Pre-Treatment to prepare the leather for protection.  Apply a small amount of Pre-Treatment product to the special applicator first, then apply evenly to the leather.  Make sure the product is completely absorbed before drying.  Do not apply too much product and make sure to wipe the excess off from the stitches.  Light, even coats are best.  Dry with a hairdryer on medium setting.  Apply a second coat and dry as before.  Buff with a microfiber cloth then proceed to step 2. If bag is used and needs cleaning:  use Vachetta Cleanser to clean the leather with a microfiber cloth, only  if required. Pre-Treatment can then be applied or Proceed to step 2.

STEP 1 for  USED BAGS -  Cleanse

​

Cleansing: Apply cleanser to microfiber cloth then apply evenly overall the leather surface - do not spot clean and do not scrub too harshly - this leather is sensitive.  If the leather is very soiled - use the miracle sponge with the product - carefully clean the entire surface ( note that this sponge is abrasive and should not be used without the product) Leather will lighten when dry - for speeding up the drying process use hairdryer on medium setting. Proceed to step 2 for leather.  Cleanser can be used to clean the coated canvas. Proceed to step 3 for canvas (do not use Vachetta Protection on coated canvas - rather, use the conditioner with soil release as the protection)

STEP 2: Use either the Pre-treatment or the Vachetta Protect

​

Using Vachetta Protection will protect the handles from darkening due to hand oils and will protect all leather surfaces from water and oil stains.  Apply the product to the special application sponge and then apply evenly and gently to the leather.  Make sure that the product is completely absorbed into the leather before drying and that there is no excess on the stitches.  Dry with a hairdryer on medium setting.  Apply the second coat once the first coat is dry.  Buff with the microfiber cloth when done.

STEP 3: Condition

​

Apply Vachetta Conditioner sparingly to the microfiber cloth and apply evenly to the leather. Make sure product is well absorbed into the leather before drying. Remove any excess on stitches. Air dry or use a hairdryer on medium setting to speed the drying time if required.  Buff when dry to restore luster.  Can be applied to coated canvas as conditioner and protection.  When using on coated canvas, allow product to air dry.

Byebyedye:
Apply to cloth and test for colorfastness. Clean until the cream is completely absorbed; continue to clean as dye takes time to migrate back out. Use sponge for stubborn dye transfer - apply BBD onto sponge and carefully clean the leather being careful not to remove any print or pattern in the process.
